'A profound, perception-altering, poetic experience' The Stage

'The new IOU theatre show is a little bit special, wonderfully poignant piece about seeing ourselves clearly from a distance' Lyn Gardner, The Guardian‘If at 65 you could say something to yourself at 23, what would it be?’

The streets of Redcar become the stage as you take a tour aboard IOU’s custom-made open top bus for an unforgettable journey. Beginning in a drawing class, Rear View quickly becomes a moving adventure about a woman’s life led by performance poets Cecilia Knapp or Jemima Foxtrot

Reflections, predictions and observations blur the line between reality and fiction.IOU has a 40-year tradition of creating work that combines many art forms presented in unusual indoor and outdoor spaces, festivals, venues, galleries and digital worlds.
