IOU has facilitated Arts Council England’s International Networking Project for the past six years.   The project is designed to develop international networking skills and new relationships.   IOU’s executive producer, Richard Sobey, works with each participant organisation to explore creative strategies that utilise international networking to achieve organisational and personal aspirations as well as explore networking techniques.  Participants include artists and venues.

Richard facilitates one to one strategic sessions as well as providing practical support during international network meetings.   The 24 Yorkshire-based participant organisations have been to Helsinki, Ghent, Beijing, Tokyo, Istanbul, Nairobi, Utrecht, Berlin, Bratislava, Ljubljana, Vilnius, Zurich, Montreal and Glasgow.
