'Finding the lens' workshop will be a relaxed and vibrant guide through the on-floor process of acting to camera. It’s for anybody interested in performance and directing. Throughout the filming of a short scene, you’ll be taken through the actor/director process and discover how small changes can create authentic, impactful and sometimes comic performances. As well as performance techniques, we will look at the technical aspects of the scene.
Working in pairs, you will be working from a short 1 page script which you’ll be given on arrival. You don't need to bring anything to the workshop other than yourselves.
