Ines Minkiewicz has dedicated her professional career  to theatre as a lighting designer and technician. Her other passion is puppetry and prop making (especially all kinds of  masks). Ines has attended different puppetry courses run by Little Angel Theatre in London and currently works as a lighting technician at Civic Barnsley Theatre.

This is an exciting and dynamic course aimed at those who have an interest in puppetry (but no prior experience is necessary). During this workshop we will learn how to make a simple puppet using recycled materials like cardboard and paper. The aim is to teach you how to create your own style of puppet, which you can play with alone or operate with two other people.

You will explore how to join all the parts of the puppets’ trunk and learn its similitude with a humans’ body.  In addition the course will enable you to discover how exaggerating some parts of the body can change the expression and perception of the puppet.
